Welcome to the Arizona Lightning Owners Club.  The Arizona Lightning Owners Club is a group of dedicated performance enthusiasts, and while our focus originally was the Ford SVT Lightning and  supercharged Harley Davidson F150's, we are accepting members who drive anything fast!  We celebrated our 5th Anniversary on April 16th 2006, and would like to all our members for making this club a reality.  Stay tuned for information on upcoming events, as we burn our way through another year!  If you are interested in becoming a member of AZLOC, or would just like to learn more, please visit our Join page.  Feel free to browse our Forums and ask any questions, registration only takes a minute.

What is a Lightning or Harley F150?  Since 1993, the Ford SVT (Special Vehicle Team) Lightning has set the standard for sport trucks.  The first Generation of Lightning ('93-'95) featured a 351ci V8 and handling that set it apart from all other trucks.  The second Gen Lightning roared on the scene in 1999, with a supercharged 330ci putting out 360 hp and a whopping 440 ft lbs of torque.  That was upped to 380/450 for the 2001 and up models.  With some minor modifications, these trucks easily see 12 second runs.   Two years of the limited edition Harley Davidson F150 trucks came equipped with the same supercharged drivetrain, packaged in a luxurious four door truck.  The next generation of Lightning is due out for 2006, and is reported to pack over 500 hp!

Hot Teams Racing Hot Teams Racing is a not-for-profit drag racing series that was founded in Phoenix AZ in October of 2000 as both a race and community fund raising organization. This program is 100% pure heads up racing, free to participate in and is open to the public.  The series competes three teams divided along manufacturer lines of GM, Ford and Mopar against each other.  The events are very grass roots and no frills but they are a blast to compete in.  AZLOC was asked to participate to give the Dakota guys someone to race against, we look forward to participating.   Visit www.outrunu.com for more info!
